The agreement between you and CollaboPoint governing use of the platform
Last updated: 18 April 2026
By creating an account or using the CollaboPoint service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
CollaboPoint provides a cloud-based collaboration platform including real-time document editing, team chat, video conferencing, calendar, spreadsheets, presentations, and AI-powered assistance. The Service is provided "as is" subject to the terms below.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with our Acceptable Use Policy. You may not use the Service to transmit illegal, harmful, or infringing content, to harass others, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, or to interfere with the Service's operation. See our full Acceptable Use Policy for details.
You retain ownership of all content you upload, create, or share via the Service ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant CollaboPoint a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, and display your User Content solely as necessary to provide the Service. You are solely responsible for ensuring your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights or violate any laws.
CollaboPoint and its licensors retain all intellectual property rights in the platform, software, trademarks, and content we create. These Terms do not transfer any IP rights to you except the limited right to use the Service as described herein.
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of those services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CollaboPoint shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CollaboPoint, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your violation of any third-party rights.
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We will provide you with a 30-day window to export your data unless termination was due to a material breach.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
