Client work needs an audit trail, not another integration

Every proposal, engagement letter and deliverable is a document that someone has to review, approve and be able to account for later. CollaboPoint puts the drafting, the approval and the record in one place.

Sound familiar?

If more than one of these lands, the tool sprawl is costing you more than the subscriptions do.

  • A partner approves a deliverable over email, and the approval lives in an inbox rather than with the document.
  • Three versions of the same engagement letter are circulating, and nobody is certain which one went to the client.
  • Answering "who had access to this client file, and when?" means reconstructing it from memory.
  • Sensitive client material moves through consumer file-sharing links because it was the quickest option to hand.

What you get on day one

Everything below works today. What doesn't, we list further down.

Review and approval workflows

Route a document for review and approval in the product — no automation tooling to configure, and the approval stays attached to what was approved.

Version history and track changes

See what changed, when, and who changed it, with earlier versions retained.

Activity log

A record of who accessed and acted on what, readable by workspace admins.

Role-based access

Owner, admin, member and guest roles, so a client or subcontractor can be given access to one workspace without seeing the rest of the practice.

Encryption and MFA

AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit, with TOTP and email one-time-code multi-factor authentication available on every plan.

Client calls and screen share

HD calls with screen sharing and recording, so a walk-through does not need a separate meeting subscription.

What a 20-person team pays

Same work, two bills. Published list prices, not our estimates.

You keep about £680 a month — £8160 a year.

What we don't have yet

You would find these in a procurement review anyway. Here they are up front, with where each one stands.

SOC 2 Type II

Not audited

Our hosting runs on Google Cloud, which holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 — but that is their certification, not ours. Certification for CollaboPoint is on our roadmap. If your procurement process requires a certified vendor today, we are not yet that vendor.

SAML & SCIM single sign-on

On request

Available on request for Enterprise; general availability planned Q4 2026.

EU data residency

Planned Q1 2027

Data is currently hosted on Google Cloud in the United States.

WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility audit

Planned Q4 2026

We have not completed a formal audit.

Questions

Are you SOC 2 certified?

No. We would rather say so plainly than let an infrastructure certificate imply otherwise. Our hosting provider (Google Cloud) is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified, and our own practices are aligned to those criteria, but CollaboPoint has not completed its own audit. If your procurement process requires a certified vendor today, we are not yet that vendor.

How is client data separated?

Data is scoped per workspace, with access enforced server-side by security rules rather than in the interface alone. A guest invited to one client workspace cannot see another.

Can we get a DPA?

Yes — contact us and we will provide our data processing addendum along with the current sub-processor list.

What does the audit log actually capture?

Workspace activity — document access and changes, membership changes, and security events such as sign-ins and MFA changes. It is admin-readable and cannot be edited by ordinary members.

Can we pilot with one team before committing?

Yes. Start on the free plan or a single paid workspace, run a live matter through it, and expand only if it holds up.

Try it with your own team

The free plan is genuinely free — no card, no trial countdown. Invite a couple of colleagues and see whether it sticks.
